Budgeting for Relaxation in Azabu-Juban: Course Prices and Extra Charges

Separate the course price from your total budget

Start with the course price, then account for any extension or time-based charge that applies. When comparing relaxation options around Roppongi, compare the included services and the total price as well as the duration. SALON by HOGUGU is located in Azabu-Juban.

Check the published course prices

The official menu checked on 23 October 2026 lists total body care at ¥7,500 for 50 minutes, ¥12,000 for 80 minutes and ¥16,500 for 110 minutes. Oil treatment is listed at ¥8,000, ¥12,800 and ¥17,600 respectively. Prices and inclusions may change; use the current booking information when confirming your appointment.

Check what the course already includes

The 80-minute body care course is described as dry head care plus total body care. The 80-minute oil course combines dry head care with total oil treatment. If you want care around the head, check whether it is already included instead of assuming a separate head-spa add-on is required.

An example of an extension calculation

The published extension charges are ¥1,500 per 10 minutes for body care and ¥1,600 per 10 minutes for oil treatment. A 50-minute body care course plus a 10-minute extension would therefore total ¥9,000 using these listed prices. This is an arithmetic example, not a guarantee that an extension is available. Confirm availability, service details and the final amount before requesting it.

Check late-night charges and the total visit time

The official page lists late-night charges of ¥2,000 for body care and ¥2,100 for oil treatment. Ask when these apply before booking. Also allow for reception, changing and payment rather than treating the course duration as the full time you will spend at the salon.

A message you can use

“I am considering 50-minute body care on [date] at [time]. Could you confirm any extra charges and the total price without an extension? I would like to leave by [time].” This brings the service, timing and budget into one enquiry. Choose a course that fits your preferences and conditions of use, rather than comparing price alone.

Frequently asked questions

Is a longer course always better?
No single duration suits everyone. Choose around the content you want, your schedule and your budget.
Will it treat shoulder or lower-back pain?
Our services are for relaxation and do not promise diagnosis, treatment or symptom improvement.

Planning Relaxation for Two near Roppongi? Check Times, Rooms and Payment

When planning relaxation with a friend or partner, check more than whether there are two openings. Ask about starting together, room arrangements, different courses and payment. Requesting a booking for two does not by itself confirm simultaneous sessions or a shared room.

This guide is for people coordinating plans around Roppongi and considering a salon in Azabu-Juban. It does not announce a couples package or shared-room treatment at our salon. Ask what can be accommodated before booking.

Start with the number of people and whether simultaneous sessions are essential

Explain whether both people must begin at the same time or whether some difference would work. Simultaneous service depends on both room and therapist availability for the requested courses. Ask about both bookings together before confirming just one.

Offer more than one possible date and explain priorities, such as simultaneous starts being essential or a short gap being acceptable. Choose the acceptable gap around your own plans.

Do not infer shared-room service from the number of private rooms

Several private rooms do not necessarily mean two clients can receive sessions in one room. Equipment and operating arrangements differ. If a shared room matters, ask specifically and wait for confirmation.

If separate rooms are used, agree on a meeting point and departure plan afterward. Check whether waiting space is available and what the person finishing first can do.

List each person’s course preferences

One person may prefer body care while the other wants oil treatment or a course with dry head care. Ask whether different courses can be arranged and give the preferred service and duration for each person.

A search for massage near Roppongi can return different kinds of services. Our courses are for relaxation. See the body care and oil treatment comparison and session duration guide when choosing.

Coordinate finishing times, booking names and payment

Different session lengths can mean different finishing times even with the same start. Share the time both people need to leave, the booking names and who should receive the confirmation.

Ask whether you can pay together or separately. Also check how a change or cancellation affecting only one person would be handled under the booking conditions.

A message for a two-person enquiry

“We are considering a visit for two on [date], ideally starting at the same time. One person is interested in body care and the other in a course with dry head care. Could you confirm availability and the possible room arrangements? Both of us need to leave by [time]. Please also explain booking and payment.”

Before visiting, check the confirmed time, course and arrangements for both people. Each person should discuss any circumstances relevant to using the service in advance.

Frequently asked questions

Do five rooms mean two people can always book together?
No. Availability of therapists, rooms and the requested courses must all be checked.

Should one person book first?
If simultaneous visits are important, enquire about both bookings first. Availability for the second person is not guaranteed after confirming the first.

Dry Head Spa near Roppongi: What to Check About Hair, Clothing and Your Plans

Before booking dry head care after work or between appointments, check more than whether your hair will get wet. Consider possible changes to your hairstyle, hair products, clothing and your plans afterward. Service names do not explain every detail, so read the specific course description.

This guide is for people looking around Roppongi and considering relaxation in Azabu-Juban, where SALON by HOGUGU is located.

Check how dry head care differs from a salon hair treatment

Dry head spa is generally described separately from treatments that wash the hair with water and shampoo. However, a name alone does not establish the full process or products used. If you want shampooing and blow-drying, ask specifically whether they are included.

Services found under “head massage” can also have different purposes and approaches. The courses with dry head care at our salon are for relaxation. See our dry head spa and head massage guide for more on comparing services.

Dry hair does not guarantee an unchanged hairstyle

Contact with the head can alter a parting, fringe or styled hair. If you have a dinner, photo session or meeting afterward, mention it and ask about space and time to get ready before leaving. Allow for adjustments rather than assuming the style will stay exactly as it was.

Ask about hairpins, accessories or extensions in advance, including anything you cannot remove. Sharing this before the appointment helps the salon check what can be accommodated.

Ask about hair products and work clothes

Do not assume all styling products automatically prevent a visit. If you are concerned about the type or amount you use, ask the salon whether it affects the service. Also discuss any scalp concerns that may be relevant before using the service.

For a visit in work clothes, ask about collars, accessories and changing arrangements. A course combining dry head care with body care or oil treatment can involve preparation beyond the head, so plan for the actual combination you book.

Check the combination offered at SALON by HOGUGU

Our menu lists dry head care combined with body care or oil treatment. Check the current menu for what is included, and ask which options are available if you would prefer care focused only on the head.

Allow time for reception, changing, payment and getting ready afterward as well as the session. Our 50-, 80- and 110-minute course guide explains how to compare durations.

An enquiry you can adapt

“I am considering a course with dry head care. I plan to come after work with styling product in my hair and have plans afterward. Could you explain possible effects on my hairstyle, time to get ready afterward and changing arrangements?”

Frequently asked questions

Does a dry head spa include shampooing and blow-drying?
Do not assume so. Check the course details and state clearly if hair washing is part of what you want.

Can I schedule something immediately afterward?
You may need time to adjust your hair or change. Share your departure deadline and next commitment, and allow enough total visit time.

Looking for Relaxation near Roppongi? Five Things to Share Before Your First Booking

For a first relaxation appointment near Roppongi, it helps to share five things: the service you are considering, when you can arrive, when you need to leave, practical questions about changing, and your preferences for the visit. You do not need to have every detail decided before asking.

SALON by HOGUGU is located in Azabu-Juban. This guide is for people considering a visit there before or after work or other plans around Roppongi.

1. Turn a broad massage search into a clear service preference

A search for massage in Roppongi can return services with different purposes and approaches. Similar names do not establish that the services are equivalent. Ask whether the session is over clothing, uses oil, or includes care focused on the head.

Our salon offers relaxation courses including body care, oil treatment and combinations with dry head care. If you are unsure, say that you would like help understanding the options. Read our body care and oil treatment comparison for more detail.

2. Share both your arrival time and your departure deadline

For an after-work visit, a useful message is: “I can arrive after 18:30 and need to leave by 20:00.” Ask about reception, changing and payment as well as the treatment duration. Travel time from Roppongi varies with your starting point and transport, so check your actual route before booking.

Our 50-, 80- and 110-minute course guide can help you compare options. The best fit depends on what is included and your schedule.

3. Ask about changing, what to bring and your hair

If you plan to come in work clothes, ask whether changing clothes are available and what you need to bring. For an oil treatment, ask about changing and wiping off afterward so you can plan your next commitment.

If you are considering dry head care, mention any concerns about hair products or your hairstyle. For example, explain that you have plans afterward and would like to know what to expect. Requests depend on the service and what the salon can accommodate, so check before confirming.

4. Describe comfortable pressure and any areas to avoid

You can ask for lighter pressure, gradual checks on comfort, or conversation limited to necessary questions. A private room does not automatically tell the therapist your preferences. Speak up if something feels uncomfortable during the session.

Tell the salon in advance about health circumstances that may affect whether you can use the service, such as current treatment or an injury. This is to check suitability for a salon visit and does not replace medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

5. Check confirmation and change or cancellation conditions

A request sent through the salon’s booking system is not confirmed until the salon approves it. Check the confirmation and appointment details. Changes and cancellations may incur fees depending on timing, so read current conditions before booking.

A message you can adapt

“This will be my first visit. I would like to come on [date] after 18:30 and need to leave by 20:00. I am considering body care with dry head care. I will be wearing work clothes. Could you tell me about changing clothes and the total time I should allow?”

Replace the details with your own plans and add any circumstances relevant to using the service.

Frequently asked questions

Can I enquire before choosing a course?
Yes. Explain what you would like and how much time you have, then ask about the available courses and their scope.

Is the salon in Roppongi?
The store is in Azabu-Juban: 4F, F Plaza, 1-3-8 Azabujuban, Minato-ku, Tokyo. If you are visiting from Roppongi, plan your route to this Azabu-Juban address.

50, 80 or 110 Minutes? Choosing a Relaxation Session in Azabu-Juban

The most useful way to choose a relaxation session is to start with what you would like to experience and how much time you have before and afterward. If you are deciding between 50, 80 and 110 minutes, check the areas included, whether dry head care is part of the course, and the time needed for changing and travel.

Choose the service first, then the duration

A short break after work and a leisurely visit on a day off may call for different plans. A shorter appointment is not automatically inadequate, and a longer appointment does not mean stronger pressure. First check whether the course includes what you want.

SALON by HOGUGU in Azabu-Juban lists 50-, 80- and 110-minute body care and oil treatment options. Two courses with the same duration can include different services, so read the course name alongside the time.

A practical comparison

DurationA useful starting pointWhat to check
50 minutesConsidering a visit within a limited scheduleWhether your preferred areas are included
80 minutesConsidering dry head care with body care or oil treatmentThe combination offered and total visit time
110 minutesSetting aside time for a premium courseThe areas included, changing and your next appointment

These are planning suggestions, not promises of a particular outcome. Check the current menu for the actual course details.

50 minutes: decide what you want included

If you are fitting a visit between other commitments, start by reading the 50-minute options. The salon lists Total Body Care, Upper Reset and Lower Reset under its body care options, while the 50-minute oil option is a full-back oil treatment.

Ask in advance if you prefer care over clothing or would like attention focused on a particular area. Extra services are not automatically included because there is time available. If you also want dry head care, choose a course that includes it.

80 minutes: check the dry head combination

The listed 80-minute combinations are dry head care with Total Body Care, or dry head care with Total Oil Treatment. These are options to compare when you would like head-focused relaxation as well as body care or an oil treatment.

Tell the salon if you have preferences about how time is divided between areas. Whether a particular request can be accommodated depends on the course and your condition on the day.

110 minutes: check the premium course details

If you have more time available, consider the premium courses. The salon lists Premium Total Body Care and a premium total oil treatment that includes dry head care. Do not assume the course name tells you every area included; check the details before booking.

You do not need to tolerate uncomfortable pressure during a longer appointment. Tell your therapist which areas to avoid and what pressure feels comfortable. Speak up immediately if you feel pain or discomfort.

Allow time beyond the number on the menu

Reception, changing, discussing preferences, payment and getting back to the station can all affect your plans. Ask what is included in the stated duration and how much time to allow before leaving. Avoid scheduling a meeting or onward journey immediately after the treatment ends.

Frequently asked questions

Can I compare massage or head spa services by time alone?
No. Similar names or durations do not establish that the purpose, service or qualifications are the same. Check the actual service. The salon courses described here are intended for relaxation.

Should I choose a longer course for shoulder or lower back pain?
We cannot determine an appropriate session length from symptoms or promise improvement from a longer course. Seek medical advice about pain, numbness or other ongoing symptoms, and ask the salon before booking if you have health concerns.

Can I extend my appointment on the day?
Extensions depend on other bookings and availability. If you already know how much time you would like, consider booking the corresponding course in advance.

Plan your visit to SALON by HOGUGU

SALON by HOGUGU Recognised as an Instabase Gold Space: One of Only Five Rental Salons in Minato Ward

Around three months after opening, our therapist rental salon earns recognition for operating quality and guest reviews. Two rooms also appear in Instabase’s recommended top 20 rental salons in Minato Ward.

SALON by HOGUGU Azabu-Juban rental salon

HOGUGU Share Salon Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yu Motoo) announces that ROOM4 at SALON by HOGUGU Azabu-Juban has been certified as a Gold Space by the rental space booking platform Instabase. The designation recognises spaces that meet high standards in both operating quality and user reviews.

View ROOM4 on Instabase

According to Instabase search results checked on 13 October 2026, only five of the 207 rental salons in Minato Ward held Gold Space certification. SALON by HOGUGU was the only certified facility in the Azabu-Juban Station area. Two rooms at the facility were also included in Instabase’s recommended top 20 rental salons in Minato Ward.

Approximately three months after opening on 27 July 2026, our work to provide a dependable treatment environment and attentive operations has contributed to this recognition.

Gold Space recognition for operating quality and user reviews

Instabase’s Gold Space programme recognises facilities that meet high standards in space operations and reviews. ROOM4 recorded the following results:

• Booking request approval rate: 100%
• First-message reply rate: 100%
• Listing rule violations: none
• Review score: among the higher-rated spaces on the platform

With only five certified rental salons among 207 listings in Minato Ward, this recognition marks an achievement in operating quality and user satisfaction in a competitive central Tokyo market.

The listing counts and certification status above are based on the company’s review of Instabase search results on 13 October 2026.

Beyond renting rooms: supporting therapists’ work

As working styles diversify, hourly rental salons offer freelance and part-time therapists in fields such as massage, seitai, bodywork and relaxation a way to secure space while limiting initial investment. However, arranging equipment, managing bookings and responding to clients can add work beyond the session itself.

SALON by HOGUGU was created in Azabu-Juban, Minato-ku, Tokyo, as both a rental salon and a relaxation salon linked with the home-visit relaxation service HOGUGU. Its location is also convenient for therapists working around Roppongi.

A one-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station, the facility has five private treatment rooms with equipment such as electrically adjustable treatment beds. Therapists offering seitai, body care and oil treatments can use the rooms for the time they need. Reception support is another part of our effort to create a dependable experience for therapists and their clients.

Combining a share salon with a relaxation salon

The facility combines rental treatment space for therapists and bodywork practitioners with relaxation services, including body care, for general customers. Therapists can use the rooms for their own clients and, subject to the relevant conditions, combine this with serving the salon’s customers or providing home visits through HOGUGU.

Our aim is to offer more than space: an environment where therapists can build their own client base and work flexibly.

Comment from Representative Director Yu Motoo

“We are delighted that SALON by HOGUGU, which opened in July 2026, has received this recognition. Our goal is more than simply renting out treatment rooms. We want to create a place where skilled therapists can work freely in ways that suit them, whether independently or alongside another job.

We believe this certification is thanks to the therapists who use our salon and everyone who has shared valuable reviews. We will continue improving service quality so that both therapists and customers choose our salon.”

A Share Salon and Relaxation Salon in One: THE SALON by HOGUGU Opens in Azabu-Juban

Bringing the share salon model popular in the beauty industry to relaxation, with a new style of store that expands opportunities for therapists.

THE SALON by HOGUGU grand opening announcement

HOGUGU Share Salon Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Yu Motoo) announces the opening of the first THE SALON by HOGUGU in Azabu-Juban. The hybrid salon combines shared treatment space with a relaxation salon for customers.

Challenges facing share salons in the relaxation industry

In the beauty industry, the growth of freelance hairdressers, eyelash technicians and nail artists has helped spread salons where treatment space is rented by the hour. Investment and acquisitions involving share salon operators are also changing the store business model.

Although individual skills create value in the relaxation industry too, large share salons focused on relaxation remain limited. Many facilities are small operations with one or two beds, restricting available times and space and making it harder for relaxation therapists to secure a reliable place to work. Some have no on-site reception, making equipment maintenance and user support more difficult; inconvenient or hard-to-find locations can also affect the experience.

Addressing these challenges with two complementary services

THE SALON by HOGUGU aims to address these issues through a new model combining a share salon with a relaxation salon.

Features of the Azabu-Juban store

As a share salon
• A convenient location one minute from Azabu-Juban Station.
• Five treatment spaces, including private rooms, to provide a dependable working environment.
• Reception staff support users and handle facility management, including cleaning, helping therapists focus on sessions.

As a relaxation salon
• Combining room rental with customer-facing salon operations creates income streams beyond room rental alone.
• The salon draws on the therapist network of HOGUGU, the home-visit relaxation service. Therapists with established experience and reviews can serve customers, supporting service quality without requiring the same fixed staffing cost structure.

Through this dual model and its link with HOGUGU, the company aims to establish a new share salon standard for the relaxation industry.

Comment from Representative Director Yu Motoo

“In the beauty industry, the share salon model has created new freelance working styles and markets. In relaxation, share salons are still less widespread, and we believe a new store model is needed.

THE SALON by HOGUGU combines shared treatment space with a relaxation salon for general customers. By generating income from salon services as well as room rental, we aim to create sustainable store operations. The HOGUGU therapist network also provides an environment where experienced therapists can work in the salon.

We will refine the model in directly operated stores and expand nationwide through franchising. Our aim is to establish a new share salon standard for relaxation and contribute to the industry by creating value for therapists, customers and store operators.”

Updates on Minowa’s YouTube channel

Progress is also shared on the YouTube channel 箕輪世界観チャンネル。 Watch the video.

Future plans

The company will continue testing its operating model in directly operated stores while considering franchise development in major cities. Rather than simply copying the beauty industry’s share salon model, it aims to adapt it to the relaxation industry and create a sustainable arrangement for therapists, customers and stores.

The long-term target is 100 stores nationwide within five years, expanding therapists’ opportunities to work and provide sessions while encouraging adoption of this new store model.
