Treat cancellation and rebooking as separate steps
When your plans change, check both availability for the new appointment and the cancellation terms for the existing one. The SALON by HOGUGU FAQ explains that a change is handled by cancelling and making a new booking. A cancellation charge may apply even when you only want to move the appointment.
The published cancellation windows
The official information checked on 23 October 2026 states: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the appointment; 30% after that until three hours before; and 100% from three hours before, for a no-show or for an unannounced cancellation. No cancellation charge applies when the salon cancels. Check the booking screen for boundary times, the amount used for the calculation and any conditions specific to your booking channel.
How to count back from an 18:00 appointment
For a Saturday appointment at 18:00, 24 hours earlier is Friday at 18:00, and three hours earlier is Saturday at 15:00. These are time calculations, not a guarantee of how a cancellation made exactly at a boundary will be processed. Allow time for the procedure and connection, act when you know your plans have changed, and read the final cancellation information shown on screen.
A sequence that helps avoid duplicate bookings
Check the salon, date, start time and course in your booking history. Decide on possible replacement times and enquire about availability if necessary. Confirm that the original cancellation has completed, then submit the new booking and check the approval or confirmation message. Sending a booking request alone does not necessarily mean the appointment is confirmed.
If you expect to arrive late
Contact the salon with your name, appointment details and estimated arrival time. The FAQ states that the full fee generally remains payable when a late arrival shortens the service. Do not assume that the finish time can move, that unused minutes will be refunded or that an extension will be automatic. Use your booking channel to check the available options rather than simply not attending.
An enquiry example
“I am [name], booked for body care on [date] at 18:00. I would like to check the cancellation terms and availability on [alternative date and time] before changing my booking.” This identifies the appointment clearly. You do not need to include a card number or other payment credentials in the message.
Check flexibility before choosing a time
When comparing massage or head-spa searches around Roppongi, consider what you will do if work runs late as well as the service you want. Our salon is in Azabu-Juban. Services are for relaxation and do not promise medical treatment or symptom improvement.
